Assignment task: The power of the web can have positive and negative influence on its' users. The web is a platform often used to make a communication channel that can be used to bully or harass others. It is a world where falsehoods can exist openly without being questioned or researched. "I read it online", doesn't always make it so. The web can also stand to act as a wonderful marketing tool for RMTs looking to educate the public. But reasonable steps must be taken to avoid misconduct.
Problem 1: DO you plan on using social media once in practice?
Will your personal and professional pages be linked? Or separate?
Why?
Problem 2: Describe a situation/time when you/someone else broke someone's confidence, trust or privacy on a social media platform? How did it make you/that person feel? How did it affect the relationship from that point forward?
Problem 3: Now, imagine that happened to you, as a health-care professional. What ramifications (consequences) could this have on you?
How can you protect yourself as a health-care professional?
