Application and Education. The hospital's leadership requested that we present to the hospital staff about responding to adverse events with transparency. Unfortunately, the hospital staff is not receptive to the idea. The medical staff is angry at the increased push for transparency in general and feels that admitting errors will result in more lawsuits. The hospital lawyers also are ambivalent about the idea of transparency regarding errors.
Develop two products:
- How you will address all of these concerns in your presentation?
- How can you persuade the medical staff and lawyers of the importance of your approach?
- Can you identify the interests of these parties?
- How does your approach meet these interests?
- How does your presentation engage your audience?
