Homework: Nonverbal Communication

• Why are good written and verbal communication skills highly prized by employers?
• Why do you think that employers feel today's workforce are not properly equipped with writing or listening skills?
• Do you consider yourself to be a good listener? Explain.
• How can you improve your nonverbal skills?
• Does your employer do enough to improve their communication to their employees? Can they improve? Explain. (If you are currently not working, please reference a past employer).
