Required Topic #1: How can you be an inimitable resource? (Approximately 350 words).
As part of your post explain what you believe your professional colleagues or boss might say is your most important current source of inimitability and reflect on the extent to which this complies with how you would wish to be perceived.
Also as part of your post, discuss one strength specifically related to the topics covered in AMBA 620 that you believe could help you become an "inimitable resource" as a manager and/or leader in any organization with which you might work. (See Colquitt, Lepine, & Wesson, 2015, Chapter 1.) Based upon this self-analysis, create and share one SMART goal that will help you further develop as an inimitable resource. To qualify as SMART your goal must be:
specific and significant;
measurable, meaningful and motivating;
attainable;
realistic and results-oriented; and
time bound.
Your SMART goal should NOT be a) one you used in a previous course, b) about the grade or the degree you wish to earn, or c) about a specific work project you wish to complete unless it is directly relevant to this course. The premise underlying this course requirement is that the knowledge and skills associated with goal setting are important for managers and leaders and for those they supervise or mentor.
