For this assignment you will be writing a 3-4 page expository paper. This assignment provides practice in using the Diagnostic Statistical Manual-5 (DSM-5) to make co-occurring diagnoses of clients who suffer from mental health and addiction disorders
Watch the Case Study: Brandi.
Use the DSM-5 to analyze Brandi's symptoms and determine a diagnosis. Once you have settled on a diagnosis, draw up an individualized treatment plan. Discuss treatment modalities that are appropriate for treating those with a co-occurring mental disorder or disability. How can you apply stage-wise treatment to Brandi's crisis?
Support your work with materials from the DSM-5, the text, and at least one outside source (be sure it is a scholarly source).
Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:
