Volkswagen's Dresden factory was engineered to turn the process of making cars inside out. VW's Dresden factory was located within a city, shared transportation hubs and manufactured its car, the Phaeton, in what the videoclip claims was a completely new way. Even so, the Phaeton was a failure and today the model is no longer manufactured in VW's Dresden factory.
How did VW used renewal process but still failed? Explain the merits and the demerits of the concept of renewal process and its feasibility and applicability of VW. Also how can some good strategies can be wrongly implemented and should not be jettisoned and what could VW do to better execute the selected strategies?
