Assignment task: How are the topics of biological anthropology represented in our everyday lives? When you look the problems in your world today, how can biological anthropology be used to help address these issues? How is biology relevant in your own life?
Begin your essay by first free-associating all the words or phrases you can think of when you think back to working through each of the Units. The beginning of my list would look something like this: "anthropology, holistic, biological, archaeology, evolution, genetics, monkeys, inheritance, forces, recombination, chromosomes," etc. You should have a whole bunch of words and phrases - like 50 or so.
Show me that you have gone through the process of thinking about connections you can think.
Maybe you just had a suspicious mole removed that might have been from overexposure to the sun. You might consider writing about sun and skin cancer, and the evolution of skin color. Or maybe you want to take a more general approach and talk about the relevance of evolution in our daily lives.
