Branding is very important in influencing the final price that a business can charge for a product. When setting a price for a product, there are many things to consider before the final breakdown. You will need to consider the costs associated with getting the product to the consumers, similarly, any costs associated with that process including shipping fees, etc. Once that product makes its way to the shelves to be sold in retail to the consumer, there must be an established brand value. Otherwise, there would be no need for a transaction of the middlemen involved. There would be no use of a dropshipping or wholesaling aspect. The difference lies within the branding and perceived value the customer equates to the brand, thus impelling them to purchase the product from the retailer. There are many examples of this from websites like Alibaba, Aliexpress, and DHGate. Although these websites are accessible to consumers, they do not trust the brand's reputation to move forward with a purchase. Over the years, I don't do a lot of clothing shopping anymore.
