Problem: Discuss how The Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement responds to the social inequality we learned about in the last few weeks of our course (related to class, race or gender). Here you must include 3 to 4 ACTUAL STATISTICS from the assigned textbook reading by Khan in Weeks 5, 6 or 7. Remember, statistics do NOT speak for themselves; we must interpret what the research findings mean and theorize what mechanisms in our society produce the empirical patterns we see across data. So first present the statistics; then in a second paragraph explain what social forces or dynamics produce the patterns you see in the data; in your third paragraph, explain how the selected social movement proposes to solve/improve the dynamics that produce the inequality.
