Problem: A pharmacist is a vital member of the healthcare community. I know personally how important a pharmacist is. They are used in both inpatient and outpatient care in the hospital. Inpatients are a great check and balance to review the patient's intake and make sure that the medications they use inpatient are helping and not hurting the patient. A certain MD may prescribe one script, and another may order another and may conflict or harm the patient if taken together. Outpatient pharmacists help customers with achieving cheaper prescriptions.
As a healthcare worker, how are significant are pharmacists to you? In what ways do their role contribute or correlate in regards to the tasks of your job role?
