Reply to this post: Hi everyone, my name is Gia and I just recently got engaged two weeks ago and I have a two year old little girl. Some of my hobbies include any and all mom duties, walking my one year old Doberman and playing with my Cricut when the holidays come around. I currently work at Northeast Methodist as a charge nurse in the ICU. ICU is the only floor I have ever known. My long term goal will be to complete my NP and decide where to specialize. As much as I would love to do AGACNP I'm not certain that is conducive to having more children, so I plan to specialize in cardiac. I entered the RN-BSN program as a stepping stone to get me where I plan to be long term. I have a bachelors in psychology prior to completing my ADN I love psych however psychology and nursing is not something I feel is for me. Throughout my BSN program the areas I have found to be most interesting are the research areas, holistic care of older adults and public health nursing.
