History end of the seven years war

History end of the Seven Years War:

Up until 1763 (the end of the Seven Years War), virtually all American colonists were proud to be part of the British Empire. By April of 1775 (the start of the American Revolution), however, the American colonies and Great Britain were at war. Looking at this 12-year period, were the American colonies justified or not justified in breaking away from Great Britain?

Using evidence from both textbooks, provide at least two distinct examples in which the American colonies were justified or not justified–one example per post. These examples must be separate, yet germane (directly related) to the discussion question and to the peer posts.
