Assignment task: Although different ethical systems may rely upon different meta-ethical narratives that constitute first principles which cannot be proven or disproven, the implementation of those systems can offer historical reasons for or against future decisions to adopt them.
Describe the different relevant meta-ethical conceptions of the origins and ends (goals) of humanity from the Christian tradition on the one hand, and the Social Darwinist/Eugenicist tradition on the other and the ethical theories and practices that followed from each. Remember the importance of human nature to this difference.
