Problem: Saraswati et.al's Historical Perspectives in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies
The editors highlight some of the major accomplishments of the feminist movement throughout history. All of the following feminist actions were discussed, EXCEPT:
- Labor organizing in the late 19th and early 20th centuries
- Various actions that could be understood as "housewives revolting," eg., entering into collective action as buyers
- Challenging sexist assumptions about women's sexuality and anatomy
- Integrating the voices and experiences of the gay and lesbian community from the very beginning
