Help! I don't even know where to begin with this question..I have to answer 7 questions on my essay, and i've got them all down but this one! Any ideas..How did the religious turmoil in Europe during the sixteenth (1500's) and seventeenth centuries (1600's) influence expansion (colonization) into the New World? To what extent did the English settlements in the New World reflect the religious beliefs of the settlers?
here is what i have so far: In an analysis of how political, religious, and social factors affected the work of scientists in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, religion was found to have the most significant impact on the scientific world. As more and more religious persecution went on in Europe, more people moved to the new world to obtain religious freedom.
