Often, community leaders and politicians have a preconceived vision for healthcare in the communities in which they serve. Yet healthcare organizations set their own goals and objectives. Today's leaders must be able to align their organization's goals and objectives with those of the community they serve. In order to do so, healthcare leaders need to be aware of public health initiatives.
