1. Does the Introduction section describe the main scope of the research, and does it briefly reveal the results? Is the thesis clearly stated? What is it?
2. Does the Findings section include necessary statistics, basic facts, or other qualifying data? Write one example.
3. Are the in-text citations included in the Findings section, and does every paragraph at least end with a citation even if no direct quotes are used? Note where citations are missing and correct it.
4. Does the Discussion section address sensible deductions based on the qualifying data? Does the writer suggest that more research is needed and why?
5. Are the main headings-Introduction, Findings, Discussion, References-centered?

11. Are the subheadings located flush with the left margin, and are they 2-4 words in title case and in bold face?
12. Did the writer remember to avoid clichés, jargon, metaphor and slang?
13. Note the use of trite or ambiguous terms such as "very," "many," "different," "important," "a lot," or any other words that are trite and overused and correct them.
14. Proof read for grammar and punctuation errors.
