Global Security:
1- Please explain what are in your opinion the similarities and differences between the Global Security and the International Security. Please provide at least two examples in each case.
2- In your opinion what area of the Global security should be prioritized by the international community? Please explain why and how would that benefit the global security status?
Content of the Discipline:
• In-depth study of the global security frameworks, their interaction and impact on either the global security pattern or, together with it, relevant human activities.
• Study of the global security concept originating prerequisites. Assessments of its nascent implementation models drawing on the example of solution and analysis of specific political and economic problems and, primarily, problems of global activities of the human community.
• Training skills of independent analysis and estimation of such prospects and trends of its development, effectiveness and role of international governmental and non-governmental organizations involved in the global security area. Working out general ideas and conventional threats directly affecting its state and preparedness of existing institutions and organizations at different levels of international cooperation to effectively collaborate to prevent from such threats, willingness to withstand them or compensate effects of negative scenarios.
Working out a creative strategy for developing new proposals on eventual trends for strengthening global security patterns either in total or its separate components.

The chapters are critically analyzed and expended upon by students through comparing them to the real life events taking place in the relevant arias of Global Security, specific attention is given to the student’s regional aspect based on the class composition (what regions are represented in the class).
