Problem
The company has recently had to lay-off employees and has lost profit. I understand that it is a complicated issue, but I would like you to evaluate some of the marketing techniques it used - such as product, pricing, or promotional tactics - and then give your opinion about whether or not the company could have avoided its recent difficulties - or if it is just the economy, competition, technology, etc
Thumbs DOWN - Snap screwed up. And it's going to take some changes to their internal Marketing Management strategies for them to pull out of this mess.
Thumbs UP - Snap is a victim of circumstances. It might be difficult to manage the problem, but the company will recover if/when the external situation(s) changes.
