a) Give an example of a continuous function whose derivative does not exist at x=0 (hint: this would be relatively easy to do with a piecewise function, but you have to think of a function that uses formula that Maple TA recognises. Check the syntax guide for examples of the functions that are accepted by Maple TA).
b) Give an example of a function which is continuous at x=2but whose derivative does not exist at x=2.
c) Give an example of a function that is continuous at x=-2, x=0 and x=3 but whose derivative does not exist at any of those points.
