There are many characteristics of gifted children and a diversity of effective instructional methods. Assume that you spent the day observing either a preschool, elementary or secondary classroom. Throughout your observation, one child exhibits behaviors typical of gifted children. Write down a vignette which explains the child and describes why you believe this child might be gifted. Your vignette must comprise:
a) The child's name, age and grade level.
b) A brief explanation of the learning environment.
c) At least three academic and/or and social features the child displayed throughout your observation which makes you believe he/she might be gifted.
