Question4. Globally, many tourists travel for natural landscapes which harbour important biodiversity. Some tourists go on safaris to watch wildlife. Others visiting coastal areas esteem the clean waters where they go swimming among the fish and coral reefs, and watch whales, dolphins and seabirds amongst others. All these activities imperatively need intact and healthy ecosystems. Unfortunately, tourism has the large and rising environmental footprint, and in the absence of appropriate management it becomes a source of raising stress on fragile ecosystems.
