Framework for Understanding Ethical Decision Making in Business, and focus on each component of this working model. Although we study these models and dynamics more intensely in the upper-level courses, for our purposes, we need to understand why this framework operates to explain how personal ethics--while important to understanding individual perspectives and motives--are only a beginning point when considering the much larger and complex framework in which organizational ethics operate according to a firm's short and long-term strategies. For this session, comment on the differences between individual and organizational factors and on why you believe they're significant to understanding ethical decision making.
