Assignment
Based upon your readings, please describe "what is Organizational development?" Furthermore, please include a discussion on "how do we know it, when we see it?" The assignment should be at least 3 pages long, and double-spaced. Feel free to add in your concerns, confusions, and possible applications to your own organization, as you see them.
The purpose of this assignment is:
- for you to get a good picture of what the field of leading change (OD) entails,
- how a leader can use it to benefit their organization
- how to operate as an internal consultant,
- why the class is organized as it is.
- to prepare you for your first discussion/meeting with the principal of your chosen organization (I want you to sound like you know what you're talking about!).
