The Memoir
A memoir is a retelling and reflection upon some significant event in the author's life. A memoir uses the narrative genre to recount a story or stories sharing a similar theme from the author's life then reflects on those events and what was learned by the author. For this assignment, you will write a memoir about something significant that happened to you and then reflect on what you learned from that event.
