Your final project is due this week, but before you can finish it, it is important to perform one more step: testing. Before a project launches, it is important to make sure that it works as intended.
As you learned in the very beginning of this course, a poorly designed product can do significantly more harm than good.
For this assignment, do a presentation of your Portfolio Assignment for two or three individuals, preferably members of your target audience.
Build a set of questions to ask these users. Pose these questions to them, and then gather and analyze their feedback and incorporate it into your work.
Submit a final project plan document that integrates all of your Portfolio work from this course. The document should have the following sections:
Project Overview
Goals, Objectives, Success Metrics
Audience Overview (Who are they? What motivates them?)
Information Architecture
Visual Concepts (wireframes, structural reps, designs, etc.)
Back-End Technology (databases, information processing)
Testing and Refinement
Launch and Promotion (including time line)
Appendices (user data, and anything else that does not fit elsewhere)
