Assignment: Write a reflection on your experiences with writing and how those experiences affected your feelings about writing.
For example, you might write about your experiences doing writing projects in school, and how those experiences and the feedback from your teachers affected your feelings about writing. You might also write about your experiences writing creatively-songs, stories, poems-and why you enjoy expressing yourself that way. Another option would be to write about your experiences doing practical forms of writing-emails, memos, proposals-at work, and how your writing helps you to successfully accomplish tasks.
You can also write about all of the above topics or come up with another way to reflect on your experiences with writing. Whatever you choose, please also include as much detail as you can about your writing process, meaning the series of steps you go through to turn an idea to a finished piece of writing.
Purpose: The goal of this assignment is for me get to know you better as a writer, and for you to think critically about your own writing process and your feelings about writing.
Requirements: Your reflection should be at least 400 words long, and the document should be formatted in MLA style.
