Removing toxic materials from their packaging and eliminating 12 tons of PVC plastic from packing seems very responsible on their part, do you think that this could at all hurt their COGS? Does safer packaging materials cost more money? I personally believe that it is more important for them to ensure that more environmentally safe packaging is used regardless of the impact this makes of COGS. But as a leader in the organization that is tasked with keeping COGS down, do you think that they would still remain environmentally responsible? Please discuss briefly.
