Response to the following problem:
Consider the full-wave rectifier in Figure when the transformer turns ratio is such that the voltage across the entire secondary winding is 20 V rms. If the input ac line voltage (120 V rms) fluctuates by as much as± 10%, find the required PIV of the diodes. (Remember to use a factor of safety in your design.)
