Find the length of the space

Find the length of the space curve r(t) - { t/(sqrt(2) , (t^3)/6 + 1/(2t) , -t/sqrt(2) } from the interval 1 <= t <= 2

I understand the process: take the derivative, find the magnitude, and then take the integral. But am I missing a way to simplify the equation when taking the magnitude?
