Problem: Find three social movements or grassroots initiative from a marginalized community that you think is an example of counter-hegemonic practice or thinking about "development." Post these examples and explain whether we should see them as an alternative to hegemonic development (radical break from the mainstream) or a form of alternative development (i.e. how the capabilities approach has been incorporated into mainstream development goals, such as the SDGs).
