Heat is generated uniformly inside a 20-mm thick plane wall at a rate of 20000 W/m^3. The thermal conductivity of the wall is k=0.8w/mK. The surface on the left-hand side of the wall is subjected to a constant heat flux of q1=800 W/m^2. The temperature of the surface on the right-hand side of the wall is maintained at T2=40 degrees centigrade. Use x=0 at the left wall with x+ --> and solve the heat diffusion equation to find T(x) and find the temperature on the left-hand side of the wall. Find the rate of conduction heat transfer at the right-hand side of the wall.
