Find quotes from taming of the shrew by william shakespeare

Problem: I need to find quotes from Taming of the shrew by William Shakespeare that explains two essay arguments:

1. Love is about compromise

2. Status should not define one's role

This is my introduction:

The Elizabethan Era had an immense difference of view on marriage, status, wealth, and so on compared to our current society. The play by William Shakespeare called Taming of the Shrew was written in the Elizabethan Era, showing sexual inequality and classism causing many people to stop encouraging students to read this play. However, Shakespeare was actually opposing those opinions through the examples of characters with high and low status, including Petruchio who is a rich man, Katherine who is Petruchio's wife, Lucentio who is the son of a wealthy man, and Tranio who is Lucentio's servant. First, Shakespeare uses Petruchio and Katherine's odd relationship as an example to show that true love is about compromise. Second, he uses Lucentio and Tranio's friendship to remind us that status should not define one's role. Thus, The Taming of the Shrew deserves to be read in classrooms as it includes themes that defy many oppressive ideals of the Elizabethan era that students continue to challenge today.
