Basic Concepts on Probability.
Suppose you have the experiment of flipping a coin three times.
(a) State the sample space.
(b) Find out the possibility of getting 0 heads.
(c) Find the likelihood of getting 1 head.
(d) Find the likelihood of getting 2 heads.
(e) Find the likelihood of getting 3 heads.
(f) Write the probability distribution for the random variable, x, being the number of heads.
(g) Draw a histogram of the probability distribution.
(h) Find out the expected value for the probability distribution.
(i) Find out the standard deviation for the probability distribution.
