Apiston-cylinder contains 10 kg of gas initially at 150 kN/m^2 and 25 degrees Celcius. The gas is compressed to a final pressure of 200 kPa and temperature of 85 degrees Celcius. The diameter of the piston is 0.375 m^2. The Universal Gas Constant is 8.314 kJ/kmol-K and the molecular weight of the gas is 28.97 kg/kmol. During the compression process the change in pressure varies linearly with volume and the gas can be consirdered ideal. Determine a) the initial and final volumes b) the work done by the piston during the compression.
