Find compressor exit temperature and increase in air exergy


Compressed air for machines and tools in a plant is generated by a central compressor receiving air at 100 kPa, 300 K, 1 kg/s delivering it at 600 kPa to a buffer tank and a distribution pipe. After flowing through the tank and pipe the air is at the ambient 300 K at its point of use. Assume a reversible adiabatic compressor and find the compressor exit temperature and the increase in air exergy through the compressor.
