Course Objectives and Learning Outcomes-

In this research paper you will explain the rationale that you used to choose project methods for your project scenario. You will research the significant characteristics of the initiating process and make connections between project management theory and the applied practice.

Assignment Requirements-

Find and cite at least three sources that describe the purpose, inputs tools and techniques, and outputs of the initiating processes. Based on these resources, explain the choices that you made in creating your project documents in terms of content, format, focus and application.

The document will include selecting the project, analyzing the project environment and the project charter. Note: Stakeholder analysis should not be treated as a process in this document. It will be treated in the research paper that focuses on project communications.
