There is a lot going on around the world, both across borders and in our backyard. Please choose a topic and find a website/article that relates to your topic and present it on this discussion board. This must be a current event (no more than 6 months old) and it must be a topic that is not covered by another student.
Your original post must be at least 200 words in order to get 5 extra credit points. You can also respond to two other classmates for another 5 points (at least 75 words for each response). You must respond to two other posts in order to get the second 5 points.
Example: You could write about President Trump's recent immigration ban. Find an article, summarize the article but also provide some insight/opinion about the subject. No late work will be accepted and this is entirely optional.
