Assignment task: This week's journal is about slavey and how it has been depicted. Find a depiction of slavery in art. This can be a book, movie, television show, poem, painting or something else. The art, or cultural artifact, can be something that was produced at anytime in American history. The artist does not have to be American, but the subject of the piece must touch on American slavery.
