Assignment task: In the first quarter of the 2022 year, two Michigan healthcare systems finalized a merge to create a large single system that will span 22 hospitals 305 outpatient facilities and an insurance company. This deal is said to be worth over $12.9 Billion (Landi, 2021). Now called Corewell Health, merging of both systems can be a good thing and bring some issues. the good thing is that the buildings are already there so they would not need to build anything new all they would have to do is refurbish the existing locations to match the new company look they are trying to do. employees might see some struggles because what they are used to policy-wise might change. New ways to work how to do your job and who you report to will all most likely change and essentially it is the same as starting your employment at a new facility. Also, with a merger like this there may be potential for layoffs or at least roomers of layoffs which will add stress to the employees which in turn will affect their production
