Assignment task:
1. Bring in evidence of a piece from the last year that you think features gender and/or sex (as a biological category) in the media. This can be from news media or from social media. Keep in mind that you'll be sharing this with classmates in groups.
2. You'll need to hand in a brief summary of/reaction to your piece. For example, if your media piece is from TikTok, an Instagram Reel, a pod cast, or a news segment from a television program, you'll briefly describe it and why you chose it/how you think it's relevant to the subject matter of this course (History 3570).
