Ethically, leaders should explore with potential members the possible psychological risks of entering a group. If you were interviewing a candidate for one of your groups, what are some psychological risks you would be inclined to discuss with this person? Once members make a commitment to be part of a time-limited and closed group, do you think they have the right to exit from that group at any time they choose? What would you want to say to a member who wanted to leave a group if you were uncomfortable with his or her intention to leave?
