R--Basics Assignment
In our reading:
htttp://cran.r-project.org/pub/R/doc/contrib/usingR.pdf (Links to an external site.)
Choose 3 (or more) exercise problems from each chapter; (revision--if this is too time-consuming, just choose 1 problem per chapter. Alternatively, you can opt to the book :https://cran.r-project.org/doc/manuals/R-intro.pdf (Links to an external site.). There are no exercises in this book, but you can schedule for a short quiz with me when you are done--hopefully by the end of the week 13th-17th).
For each problem, please
• take a screenshot of both the input command and the output, (not all output data needs to be in the screenshot),
• paste all screenshots into a single word file,
• convert it into a single pdf file, and submit the pdf file through Canvas.
Optional exercises (for those of you who are more experienced in coding):
Explore all visualization functions in
https://www.analyticsvidhya.com/blog/2015/07/guide-data-visualization-r/ (Links to an external site.)
Choose your datasets from any of the sources on:
https://www.dataquest.io/blog/free-datasets-for-projects/ (Links to an external site.)
and reproduce the same type of plots. Make sure to use a different dataset for each kind of plots. Submit:
• Commands, along with output plots for each kind of plot;
• Copy all into PDF file, and submit the file

Discussion 2:
Course Intro Discussion (Course name is Data Exploration and Visualization)
Hello everyone,
Since this course has students who started in both October and in February, I hope everyone can add a short introduction of themselves. Also I hope you will share a little bit about your programming/stats software experience here, what you would like to gain from ADS637, and what more you would like to learn besides the topics currently in the course.
