For this homework, you will complete the next part of your research paper: the statement of problem.
o Compile any data and examples which details, highlights, and explains why you have chosen to focus on this problem for your paper (this can be primary data such as crime data, and does not have to be peer-reviewed).
o Refrain from journalistic writing techniques. This is not an essay or newspaper article. Also, avoid using personal pronouns.
o You will combine the introduction that you have written for homework 7 and the literature that you have written for homework 8, with your statement of problem.
o Your statement of problem should beat least 500 words.
o This personal statement should reflect your basic thesis statement, why the topic you have chosen is a problem (with supported data) and why this problem is important. Please review the provided literature for assistance.
Format your homework according to the following formatting requirements:
o The answer should be typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), double spaced, with one-inch margins on all sides.
o The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the homework, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
o Also include a reference page. The Citations and references must follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
