Problem: Which theories or arguments that you have encountered in the course so far (Session 1-8) do you think are most useful for explaining the ongoing conflict in Ukraine? Illustrate using two or three specific arguments from the lectures and readings, and be specific about how these could help explain the causes and ongoing nature of the conflict. Be sure to draw on arguments from multiple weeks.
The paper should not be a simple summary of different theories. Instead, you should make a clear argument about which theories can help explain the conflict you have chosen, and then use sources to expand on that argument.
