Assignment task:

In the conversation St. Augustine explains the Augustinian theodicy and person 2 objects my saying that perfect creation should not malfunction. How would St. Augustine respond to the objection (what would he say and what examples would he give to prove his point)?

St. Augustine: Let me begin explaining the Augustinian theodicy in the meantime. God made a perfect world and allowed humans free will. It depends on us to decide how we act under our free will. However, we misuse the free will introducing moral evil, while natural evil is the punishment introduced by God.

Person 2: But St. Augustine perfect creation should not malfunction?
