There are many social problems that impact our society, and on a larger scale, our world. As a human services professional, you need to develop a greater sense of awareness of these social problems, which will better assist you to become an advocate for the people for whom you serve.
For this part of your social problems project, you will develop a persuasive solution to social problem you selected. (Drug Abuse)
Part I: Research
Locate two Social Media campaigns geared toward support of the social problem you have selected. Compile the information collected through your research and develop a persuasive solution to the chosen social problem. Be sure to incorporate the information collected on Social Media campaigns.
Part II: Reflect
Your goal is to educate an audience about the ways in which this problem could be effectively handled.
In a minimum of two-pages (not counting the title page and reference page) address the following in your persuasive solution:
a. Provide a detailed overview of two Social Media campaign geared toward support of the chosen social problem.
b. Evaluate whether each Social Media campaign was effective or ineffective. Support your opinion.
c. Explain why Social Media campaigns can be supportive to vulnerable populations that may be dealing with social problems.
Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:
o The answer should be typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), double spaced, with one-inch margins on all sides.
o The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
o Also include a reference page. The Citations and references must follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
