Caring for Harry
Today Dana is going to show me how she will plan to support Harry's development. I was quite surprised when Dana said that she would like me to help her set some goals for Harry. I didn't think that I could be so involved! Dana said it was part of the service's policy to work closely with parents. She explained that sharing information with her about Harry would help her to plan for his learning and development. Dana explained that the goals could be reviewed and updated at any time.
Yesterday we looked at the communication book which will tell me all the details of Harry's day, what he ate, how long he slept and when his nappy was changed. I noticed that Dana sings a lot to the children and is always smiling. Harry already seems to love her! I'll have to ask about getting a copy of the words to the songs so I can sing them to Harry at night before he goes to sleep.
Task
