Length: 4 to 6 pages.
You have been asked to design activities using developmentally appropriate children's books that address local, global, international, and intercultural problems.
Select 8 to 10 children's books around a learning topic that will help students to understand local and/or global problems (conflict resolution, global warming, pollution, poverty, etc.).
o Include books for children birth to grade 3 from different genres and multicultural and international literature.
o Explain why each of the books is age-appropriate.
o Justify how the book selection supports children's language, intellectual, and social-moral development.
o Include at least one book extension for an early childhood classroom to further language development.
Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:
o The answer should be typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), double spaced, with one-inch margins on all sides.
o The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
o Also include a reference page. The Citations and references must follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
