A Norwich MCE student is involved in a crucial out of class experiment. He is in his dorm room 34 feet above an historic rock wall. He thinks it may soon snow since his barometer reads 29.5 inches of mercury. When he looks out his window he spies a large glass of beer sitting on the wall. He lowers a long straw into glass and sucks on the straw to get the beer. Explain the result and state any assumptions that you need to make. Will the result be any different on a sunny day?
